First Blog
Well, this is my first post ever, hopefully it turns out ok. :) We decided to adopt from Ethiopia back in May and just recently finished all of the Home Study paperwork needed to start the Home Study process. We just got our first appointment scheduled for Saturday Oct 9th. I hope our dog stops shedding by then! :) Really though, I hope everything goes smoothly and we can get thru the 3 to 4 meetings quickly. My friend Cindy is also adopting from Ethiopia and they are a few steps ahead of us. I hope somehow we can catch up (without them slowing down). Probably about less than 5% chance, but how awesome would that be if we got to travel together and adopt our baby boys at the same time!!

It would be AMAZING!!! Love your blog. Can't believe we are both bloggers. :-) I also can't believe we are going through this amazing journey at the same time. Keep up the pace and you never know, we may end up in Ethiopia at the same time!

ReplyDeleteIt is really neat that a another family living near us is adopting from Ethiopia. We will have to get our sons together for play dates. Vicki is great and didn't seem to notice the dog hair all over our floor. She definitely didn't inspect for cleanliness, which I was a bit bummed about. I was proud of my very clean house :)
